This is a fun ESL game for students to play over Christmas.
The game has 2 parts. The first part is anagrams. You are shown jumbled letters and have to rearrange them to make a Christmas-themed word. In the second part, you have to read the text and then move the images to make the Christmas scene.
The game is divided into 3 rounds. The language used in each round is shown below.
Round 1
- Santa
- Gift
- Christmas Tree
- Wreath
- Stocking
- Decorations
- Give the gift to the children.
- Put the wreath on the right.
- Put the star on top of the tree.
- The stocking is over the fireplace.
- Decorate the tree.
- Put the presents under the tree.
- Add Santa
Round 2
- Sleigh
- Reindeer
- Elf
- Snowman
- Carol singers
- Father Christmas
- The sleigh is over the trees.
- Have reindeer pulling the sleigh.
- Put the elf on top of a house.
- Put the snowman in the bottom right.
- There are carol singers next to the tree.
- Father Christmas is on the sleigh.
- Make it snow.
Round 3
- Turkey
- Christmas candle
- Gingerbread man
- Snowflake
- Mistletoe
- Presents
- Put the turkey on the table.
- Have some candles on the table.
- The gingerbread man is on the table.
- There is mistletoe on the wall.
- Put the gifts on the left.
- There are snowflakes in the window.
