Up and Down
In this game you practice listening or reading for vocabulary items. You first listen or read the word and then fire the ball onto the matching image. The ball is fired by clicking, dragging and releasing with the mouse. The idea is that this is a more fun way to practice and review vocabulary items. If you guess the word incorrectly you can simply try again and so in this way it’s hoped that some learning can take place. This game is less serious than others and I hope that it can be a little fun as well as part of a learning process.
The time you have runs down slowly at first but then faster and faster as you progress. As with other games you can select the content you which to practice using for the game. You first click on ‘start’ and then select the vocabulary set from the categories you see.
